Cabiria Gown

The Cabiria Gown is an exquisite example of Temperley craftsmanship, displaying a faberge-esque level of ornament and embellishment. The tulle gown is embellished with a fusion of Art Deco and art nouveau botanicals, which is then hand beaded with micro pearls and encrusted with sequin sheeting to frame the stitchwork. The front neck panel, side panels and sleeves are decorated with a lattice of the micro pearls, adding to the frame-like effect of the artwork. The skirt opens out into full lattice tulle godets to echo the latticework on the bodice and give an airy lightness, which contrasts beautifully with the encrusted artwork of the gown.
